There’s no question that the oldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney, bears responsibility for the rise of Mason. Mason Dash Disick, Kourtney’s older son, was born December 14, 2009. Since his birth, the name Mason has shot up from number 34 in 2009 to number 12 in 2010 and then all the way to number 2 in 2011. Today it sits at number 3—pretty impressive! Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope, was born July 8, 2012. Penelope climbed the name ranks from 168 in 2011 to 125 in 2012, and it rocketed to 42 in 2014. (Its variant Penny is on the rise too, entering the top 1,000 in 2013 and jumping to 808 in 2014.) In 2015, Kourtney gave birth to her third child, baby boy Reign Aston. While Reignisn’t in the top 1,000 names yet, it’s totally on trend with its royal undertones. Look for it to hit the list soon. All eyes will be on another Kardashian when Kim gives birth to her second child at the end of 2015. While her first daughter’s name, North, hasn’t hit the list yet, we expect it (and the nickname Nori) to arrive soon.
